MURALS AROUND TOWN

Albuquerque has a significant amount of public art.  I particularly like the numerous sculptures you find around the city — often in unexpected places (like this wolf on the University Of New Mexico campus, they are the "Lobos", afterall):


One of the delights of driving around town, especially in the downtown area and farther east along Central (old Route 66), is coming upon a nice variety of building-sized murals.  Here are a few examples (click to see a larger image):
